Palm Sunday Passion

Palm Sunday 2019
The Passion According to St. Luke

On Palm Sunday (April 14th, 2019) St. Mark's will be offering a dramatic proclamation of the Passion Gospel according to St. Luke.

Thanks to everyone who is contributing to this special Gospel Proclamation.  Please use this page to help you prayerfully remember and reflect on your parts in preparation for Palm Sunday!

Our final rehearsal/run through is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, April 14th at 8AM.  Actors, please wear all black.

Between each scene the Congregation sings the Taize refrain "Stay with Me":
Stay with me, Remain here with me. Watch and Pray. Watch and Pray.

During this refrain, actors slowly, reverently move into their next position.

Entrance
During the sequence hymn "Ride on Ride on in Majesty", children come to sit in on floor in front of the first pew.  Deacon stands in front of Altar w/Gospel Book.  All actors and readers gather in front of (or on) bottom steps.  When all are assembled, Amber leads the bow.  All move slowly and reverently to places for Scene 1.
